Cactus

There is definitely a lot going on and the order is weird. A lot of the dream feels nostalgic, but not for 10-15 years ago — more like nostalgic for the past 2-3 years.

I remember the feeling of being on a train traveling back home for winter break, and then walking into R•••'s room to see what he is up to. He is playing Minecraft because I asked him to, and he is complaining that we aren't playing in a world together because he wants all of our builds in the same world.

Then — and this is the reason I'm writing this down — I watch him break a cactus block and the cactus blocks on top fall down like gravity blocks. I am kind of surprised: "oh dang, I forgot that cactus blocks acted like gravity blocks in Beta, but that makes sense." I am genuinely surprised after waking up to find out they never actually did that. It just seemed so natural in the dream. I wonder why my brain added that detail.

I also remember joining different Discord calls with people who knew me from G••••••, D••••••, and then one of the last calls has D••• in it. I tell him about how I went to take a nap at 5 PM and woke up at 1:15 AM and was like "what do I do now bruh lol" — which is a little uncanny because I also just woke up from a nap IRL.

I also remember being in R•••'s room while he plays Minecraft. He has some sort of silver wooden structure/sculpture on his shelf that is related to Korean. I say "R••• you better be studying your Korean, you better not be slacking!" And he says "I am."
